How to Make Super Simple Shabby Chic Easter Eggs

I don’t know much about decorating (that’s my Mom’s expertise), but I do know that I have an inner girly-girl who loves everything shabby chic. Especially the floral prints! So when I saw gorgeous fabric tape at the craft store in lovely shades of pink, cream, white, green, yellow and blue, I just had to buy it to make simple shabby chic Easter eggs for spring.

To Make This Craft You Will Need

  • floral fabric tape
  • paper mache eggs or plastic eggs
  • scissors

Directions

After gathering supplies, invite kids to cut short lengths of tape.

Press the tape around the egg, being sure to cover it completely.

I just love the way they look! They remind me of primitive rag balls, except with brilliant floral patterns! They certainly look lovely in our decorative bird’s nest in the middle of the kitchen table.
