Tissue Paper Rainbow Craft
Use tissue paper squares to make a colorful, puffy rainbow craft!
Ingredients
- Rainbow Tissue Paper Craft Template free download
- Tissue paper squares all colors, sorted
- White school glue
- Scissors
- Pencil
Instructions
- Download and print the template. Download the free rainbow template and print one copy per child on white paper or cardstock.
- Cut out the rainbow. Use scissors to cut out the rainbow shape. Younger children may need a little help with this step.
- Add the tissue paper. Starting with red, glue tissue paper squares onto the rainbow in color order. For a classic technique, wrap a tissue paper square around a pencil eraser, add a small dot of glue, press it onto the template, then lift the pencil. You can also run a thin line of glue down each section and press the tissue paper directly onto it.
- Finish the rainbow. Continue until the rainbow is fully covered. Glue white tissue paper onto the clouds. If desired, add a ribbon loop to the top for hanging.
- Display and enjoy. Your rainbow craft is complete and ready to show off!
