Patriotic Cookies
Make summer sweeter with this easy cookie recipe! Just two ingredients and a few minutes in the oven for a delicious 4th of July treat that both kids and adults will love.

Ingredients
- 1 package Pillsbury Salute to Service Sugar Cookies
- 1 package Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the chocolate chip cookie dough into 1/2 inch slices.
- Place the slices of chocolate chip cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Stack 1 square of sugar cookie dough on top of each slice.
- Bake the cookies for 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Cool and serve: Remove the cookies from the oven and leave them on the baking sheet for a few minutes to set, then move them to a wire rack to finish cooling completely.
