Paper Cup Leprechaun Craft
This Paper Cup Leprechaun Craft is a simple and fun St. Patrick’s Day activity. Kids turn a paper cup into a cheerful leprechaun with a green hat and orange beard. It’s easy to prep and perfect for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary students at home or in the classroom.
Ingredients
- Paper Cup Leprechaun Template
- Green paper cups
- Colored cardstock
- Gold glitter cardstock
- Wiggly eyes
- Scissors
- Black pen
- Glue stick or Glue Dots
- Single hole punch
- Mini shamrock paper punch
Instructions
- Download and print the template. Print the Paper Cup Leprechaun template on white cardstock and cut out the shapes. Trace onto colored cardstock if desired, then cut out the pieces.
- Create the face. Glue on wiggly eyes and draw a nose and smile with a black pen. Add small pink cheeks if desired.
- Assemble the leprechaun. Use glue or Glue Dots to attach the pieces to the paper cup. Add the hat details, including the belt, buckle, and shamrock.
- Finish the craft. Let dry completely, then write your child’s name and the year on the cup if desired.
